shaker 1000 and frd04 good?

Well I was thinking on getting this frd04 for my shaker 1000 so that I can have the aux function working. I was wondering if anyone on here have done installed this product. I've read around the net that it should work but they've only put it on shaker 500s. I haven't found any reviews about the product with shaker 1000.

Does this even work with shaker 1000?

If it is the product from Pie ipod interface, then yes it does work and I've had it on my car for about 3 years now. I have it on my shaker 1000.
