My understanding is no. I just took mine out 2 days ago and on the back there are only 3 connectors. The FM antenna and 2 proprietary connectors. But if you buy an aftermarket one you can connect it. Even though i had the ipod hook up in mine, now i cant use it since i have an aftermarket unit. I have to use the ipod/mp3 hookup on the new radio.

doubt it since they are proprietary...he meant if ya buy a new radio though you can connect it...and the FM transmitters can get like that, what brand did you get? I heard Belkin makes a good one for the Ipods...

Nope they are only proprietary meaning only the ford hookups work. I wil take pics of the back of the stock radio for you to see since i have mine out. Just need to find it. There are no stereo outs or audio in or out jacks so you will need to get either an aftermaket radio or fm transmitter. yeah the one belkin makes is decent but it is only for ipods. I use my sprint treo that has windows media player though. The quality depends on where you are at because the signal the transmitter is using could be weaker in different areas. The weaker the singal of the station you are using the better job the transmitter can do to play over it. I can help you if you ever decide to get an after market one and dont wanna pay someone to install it. It took me like to days to do because of how careful i was being and there were 4 screws that took for ever to find. I could do it in an hour and half now, including the wire harness.

You can have an aftermarket hook up wired in at a stereo shop. I have a friend and she had one installed in hers. Only way I know of that it can be done
