Shaker owners
I heard there are problems with some of the hood lifts if you install them on a
shaker installed hood. I dont know if the bending and stress on the middle of the hood has bent them or what...? Anyone hear of this or anyone have a set on their hood w/no issues? If so which brand? I was looking at the Redline quicklifts. I have them on my G6 and love them. I think CDC's dont require drilling though..... ![]() This prop rod's gotta go. ![]()

However my hood was made with the hole no added as an afterthought so it may be stiffer than an 05+ with the hole ut in it afterwards. And dont fear the drill I installed mine in under 30 min. Just BE SURE and use the proper bit size for the rivet holes and get the rivets pulled tight. The look is 1000x better without the silly rod. Cheap ass fomoco....
