so i go to my health class... and we were going around the room saying our names and what the craziest thing we've ever done was (yes, its elementary, but you try telling your strength training teacher that their teaching style is elementary!).. and it comes to this decently hott chick sitting in the front. she said her name was shelby. i instantly thought of mustangs, you know how it is. so anyways, then she goes on to her crazy story, where she said she street raced a v6 camaro in her mustang! she got pulled over, which sucks.. but it was pretty crazy how that all worked out. anyways, i talked to her after class, she is real nice, but she doesnt like fox bodies:emb:

i shoulda told her it was that old maclaren version, and that it is 1 out of 200, and runs 11's... or something.

I always thought it was"fox chassis" not "fox body"....

infering that this chick didnt actually know anything about cars anyways. most girls dont know shit about cars. i asked her if she was a mustang enthusiast, and she said no, i dont have anything done to the car. and so i asked her if she likes cars, and she said, yea i like cars, they are cool. but she didnt seem like she knew the difference between a MacLaren mustang and a regular one... maclaren wasnt that much different anyways.. pretty much just like a saleen, different spoiler, and thats the only REAL noticable thing on the exterior... most people who would see a maclaren mustang would just think it was a regular fox body with some appearance mods.
we on the same track now?

thats why motor trend will never give a good review of any mustang, its had the same chassis since 79. plus they cant drive for crap and hate on domestics anyway. I think motor trend is made up of a bunch of 18 year old import drivers.

Interesting...So you mean to tell me if I had a 1983 Ford Fairmont, I could say that I had a Fox Body, Wouldn't it be better to say " I have a Fox Mustang" when asked what kind of car I drive.

that was the LAST thing i expected to hear from michelle. i thought she was gonna say something like "you already have a girl, john! you disappoint me." and then i had my perfect response to that: "I was just making friends, like you told me to!"

anyways... yea, most girls only like cars that "look good" so, they could wouldnt care if that roush was only a v6 (why do they make v6 roush?) even if the fox body ran 10's, she wouldnt care.. im pretty sure.:2thumbdwn

some girls would dig it... but maybe its just me.. most girls ive come across get pissed when you speed, or do fishtails or other crazy things like that. therefore, i come to the conclusion that chicks dont really care how fast a car is, they'd rather it look cool. but you are right.. some chicks would be convinced, if they saw a wheelie. haha.:2thumbup:
