Shelby GT-H

My dad and I are in San Diego for a Marine Corps Graduation and we decided, why the hell shouldn't we rent a Shelby GT H from Hertz?

So we did.

We are here from Thursday to Sunday, So I guess that counts as four days for rental.

This car is already scratched up pretty bad from dumbasses loading luggage and curb checking the rocker panel.

We were gonna get a V6 hardtop and it was going to be around $160 till Sunday

We saw those and asked if any were available and decide, "You don't get a chance to drive these often"

When we turn the car in on Sunday it will be close to $500 for the same rental time as we would have got the V6, but F that V6 crap!!!

They were also going to do a 100 mile per day limit, after that they added a price per mile. But they exempted us from that because my dad is 50 yrs old and I'm not "allowed" to drive it since I'm only 20 but that hasn't stopped me yet.

At least they look like the old Shelby GT350-H

New pics!!!

There is a scratch on the passenger rocker panel from a curb check of a previous renter, and some scratches on the back bumper from people loading/unloading luggage and the front chin spoiler is slightly scratched from rubbing in driveways and stuff.

The wheels? Did they have torque thrust style wheels? None of the pics I have seen do(except replicas)..

It sucks that people abuse them, but the coolest thing about a GT-H is that you can rent them.

you can buy them now. we just had one on the lot with 9k mi. and it didn't last a day. We sold it for 58k. there are some other dealers that have them on ebay and they are really trying to milk the limited production #s. this is a car strictly for the collector because there was nothing on that car I saw that was worth 60k.
