I was going to take my gf to work this morning using her car, since I needed it to take my bumper to Darren's for paint. I went to move my car to a closer spot next to my building (cuz i had to park far away again due to no available spots..) and I open my door and everything is a mess.

The rear seats were folded down and my 2 JL 10" subs were taken, along with my backpack I put all my work stuff in...which includes Mustang magazines and a government issued pair of headphones.

There was no sign of forced entry, and nothing else was taken.

My rear, driver's side bumper, next to the wheel well is scratched...again.
That was fixed not too long ago from someone backing into me in that same spot.


I think it's really convenient that my car gets singled out. Especially after getting towed..and no sign of forced entry...not a damn thing is wrong or damaged on the car.


SAPD is on the way.

Cop noticed they got in via the door lock on the driver's side. They put something in the key hole to get it open.. it's slightly dented in.

Then of course somebody broke into mine by cuttin the top.

yup - I've experienced the same in the past. Happen a couple of times at my old community college. Sucks... people work hard for what they have and then a YO-YO comes around and steals shit.... main reason why I never take out the stang when I hit up the movies, malls, etc..... keep your eyes open for any YO-YOs in your appartment complex. Get you one of those pager remote alarm transmitters that alarm you at night
when a sensor goes off in your ride. It will help you sleep better.....

That key entry is a popular spot to get in. They tried getting into my wifes f150 like a month after we got it by the key entry. Unlucky for me they didn't get in and steal it though. Just enough though to piss me off and leave it like that.

Number one way to get into fords and alot of other cars. Thats how they broke into my F150. My friends dakota was stolen on monday in broad daylight

The Officer was here pretty quick. He filed a report and I had him call the folks who come do finger printing...just waiting on them.

I also just increased coverage through USAA.

The next thing I can do to help prevent another situation like this is MOVE from this god forsaken complex/area. When my lease is up in a couple/few months, I'm out. Getting a place with a garage, be it a townhouse or paying extra at a nicer complex away from this part of town.

That's why I'm going to move. The last straw was my car getting towed night before last. This just pushed me over the top.

I'm going to try and get fake orders so I can break my lease without having to pay any fees.

Sorry to hear about your ride, you should look into homes in our neighborhood, "The Great Northwest", it's not the best neighborhood, but most homes have garages and alot of them lease out. I know there is one for lease on my street right now.

I'm in Northwest Crossing, near The Great Northwest and it is fairly quiet too. Couple of homes for lease/sell also. Most have 2 car garages.
