I'd look at the TFS stage two or three cams. You may need to have the pistons fly cut with the stage two... definitely with the stage three. Stick with 1.6 roller rockers and get an Intake to compliment it all. Edelbrock and TrickFlow have some nice intakes for the 5.0 motors.
You will also want to consider upgrading the MAF (75-80mm) and injectors (24 lb) along with a 255 LPH fuel pump. It will all work together... but you need to be sure to balance it all or you will not get the desired gain or output. I think the long tubes can wait as you will lose some bottom end torque with them. I would get them later though when you finish your top end.

LOL yea your pretty close with those parts to 330....but is that at the fly or to the ground........me, i'd go 165afr, b-cam, 1/7's, cam will have 510 lift pistons be fine, trick flow intake, 70mm throttle body, 75 mm mass air, 24 injectors, bbk long tubes, x pipe, flows dumped, msd ignition, pro-m power pipe, k&n filter and i promise you will make 335 hp to the ground.....then later on put a blower on it and your'll have 400 plus hp...am i missing anything???? o yea put a better cam in if u want make power over 5500 rpms....lol.

I swear I am going to go off the deep end if you guys dont stop recommending piece of sh*t outdated cams with no matching correlation to his head and intake combo.
![]() STAY AWAY FROM HUNDRED DOLLAR CAMS. E B F X TFS1 TFS2 old school crowers you will be far far far far faster buy spending 300 on a cam that is relevant and skimping out on say a 200 dollar TB or something else Unless you are going with a proven combo that one of these cams is perfect for (rare), dont use it. you can make 300+ RWHP with AFRs and a retarded stock cam BTW. It will probably out run your average 310hp AFR e303 or tfs stage 1 combo, especially if you fear the gear and have say a 3.73. Save your dough and put it where it counts.
