Smoked Headlight Covers - Lone Star Stangs

Hey everyone

I was wondering if anyone knows where to buy some smoked headlight covers for a 96 GT . The ones in this auction caught my eye but I didn't get to bid on time :

Does anyone also know if this is a good type/worthy of use ? I'd rather not have to splurge on the whole package i.e. covers with the bulbs and such but just the covers like in the auction . I tried google to no avail as well ...

You have a couple of options.....

1. a clear Vinyl PVC headlight overlay....kinda like a sticker...comes in a couple colors, not just smoked

You can search google for a cheaper price...looks like an average of 30-40$ for this way. Some people don't like putting a film on their headlights, but, it's your car, do what you want to!

2. The hard plastic GTS brand headlight covers....

These average 40-60$ depending on where you get them...you can order these on line, or at Autozone, or PepBoys....

3. Or, the best choice in my opinion...saving the cash for a set of Black housing headlights, and matching Corners..they are not smoked...but they have the black housing. Rob97gt has them on his car, and they look awesome...

4. And the final option....spending 200+ Bucks on a real set of smoked/tinted lights and corners....my personal option, if I had teh cash... :jeff:

So I'm gonna install them , but I was wondering what were the mandatory colors for the corner blinkers ? I mean the actual bulb since they are visible now ....

Get some of the Silverstar bulbs for the corners...they glow bright amber at night, and look kinda metallic blue in the daylight (when off)....

They are 100% street legal to boot!

go down to a shop called asaa on long point they have some h.i.d. coloured bulbs that look nice and are street legal also :jeff:
i had em on my corolla and they work great.
