I made one test pass @ 10.57. As I was fixing to make my first run in competition, until some one walked up to me with a lug nut and a sheared lug stud. They said it came off my car. Sure enough, the driver side rear was missing one and it looked like the entire wheel had shifted. I decided I'd better put the car up and not take the chance. It sucks because my neighbor ran a 10.64 at the same time I went 10.57 and at the same time I was suppose to run again he went a 10.46. The air was cool and dry last night and I know I could have went a low 10.4 or maybe a high 10.3.Originally Posted by 2k4mk1

I took over 200 photos,it takes a while to edit them.

I was bummed out about it but shit happens. My car isn't very fast but it makes enough power to be a handful on its own sometimes. Losing a wheel at 100 mph isn't something I want to experience in it. Its a good reason to install those 5/8" drag studs I have for it.

Yea that chevy truck got lucky he wasn't going too fast either when he lost his entire wheel and axle. That was crazy.
The wheel and axle went farther down
track than the truck did.

yea i had a wristband, but was no way going to wait in that line, so my little girl and i had some french fries, watched a few races and left, my car was a sardine in that parking lot
the lady in the pink eclispe has and will run hi 9's.
That pink Eclipse has come a long way. I've known them for a long time.
She went 10.08 on the first pass.

I'm looking for pics of a red 85Gt with Prostars on it. A customer of mine ran the car in foot brake. I looked through your pics but didn't see it.
I think I got a picture of it Mike.....I havnt had time but I will post some I took tomorrow. Mine are not "PROFESSIONAL" photos but "they are what they are".
