SaleenSC281 asked (in another thread) about my opinion on the Snow kit and what I thought about tuning with it. I thought it best to start a new thread here in hopes that others might have some input. Methanol injection is the source of great debate on the national Cobra boards...

My BEST advice is to ask those that know a lot more. I subscribed to http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/for...php?forumid=14 on TurboBuick.com. These guys have been using alky kits for a LONG time with good results.

Second, I would find a tuner who is comfortable working with alcohol injection kits. If your tuner does not want to tune with the kit on, he (or she) is probably not real comfortable with them...

Third, you must understand that injecting methanol in itself does NOT give you any appreciable power. You MUST tune for it to see the benefits.
