Im looking at getting another one right now. You can find some nice low mileage mach's over on the registry, ebay and svt for pretty reasonable pricing. Might not be as close as Tetsu's but, with lower mileage it might be easier to get a loan on it.

Insurance still seems high though.

Ill pm you some info in a little bit.

Cool. I'll be sure to look at svt. Its needs to be local so ebay cant really work.
yeah, the insurance is high but I'll be able to afford it and its something I've always wanted.

when you search on ebay you can do a search by miles....so like pick within 200 miles. that will give you options from SA, Austin, Valley, and Houston. you can expand to 300 if you wanna travel to the D F dub area to get it. Might be worth it. 18k is way too high, thats why there are no offers, and 16k is still a little to high. i wouldnt pay more than 15k for an 03 mach 1 and 15.5 for an 04 mach 1

True, I'm going to try and make a deal with him. But I don't got much time, so I cant really travel up north to get one

That's a really clean car but with 53k miles it's not worth that much to me. A dealer trade in would only give him 12k and resale it for 15ish. I wouldn't go for it for more than 15...

I bought mine over 3 years ago with only 18k miles and didn't pay much over 20k.

if he says its too low, move on. its not the only mach 1 in the world. I tried the same thing with the seadoo someone was selling. hes asking 4500 but kbb says its worth 3000 and nada says 3500ish. so i offered 3500 and then 3900 and he still said no. Dont pay more than what somethign is worth or else you will be in the same cituation they are in now, if you try to sell it down the road. Ill keep my eye out for one if you serious about getting one. what colors would you consider.

heres a white one, doesnt list the miles and has a nice list of mods, but its in SA. 17k obo. offer 14k and see what he says
2003 Mustang Mach 1

Heres a good one from a dealership, cars from dealerships are worth a little more than private party since there is work and inspections that haveto been , 41k miles for 15.8k. Its DSG and an 04. so its worth a little more than an 03
Cars For Sale: Car Details - AutoTrader.com

here an azul blue 04 with 80k miles for 15k, might try to offer then about 13k since its a little higher on the miles. but again its from a dealer.
Cars For Sale: Car Details - AutoTrader.com

I know you said mach but heres an 01 cobra, which is the same car ALMOST and you get IRS. 75k miles for 15k. also a cobra will be worth more down the road than a mach
Cars For Sale: Car Details - AutoTrader.com

This was a QUICK search so they are out there with better prices than what hes asking. Let me know if you need anymore, but be a little more specific, with miles and how far you wanna go to get it.

That white mach I just saw today on craigslist. Looks pretty nice.
And I also saw the DSG mach while searching today, but the hood scoop has some major discoloring.

The azul mach, damn, alot of miles.

Haha, I'd take a Cobra anyday. That one is pretty nice, interior is in great shape for an 01. 20-24mpgs! nice

Thanks for finding those. I might even get the 97' cobra cubacobra is selling on here.

That white mach I would pass on. It didn't have the original block in it and was replaced with the cobra motor = lower compression = lower hp/tq #'s.

Great if you were going to s/c it though.

Im picking up an 03 white auto w/ 62k miles for 14.5 in the next couple of weeks.

Theres an 03 cobra on craigslist for 20k. That would be a perfect one to pick up. Cheap, looks really clean, stock and not too high of mileage.

I would get it, but since im trading in my wifes car for it there's some negative equity rolling into the new car making that one a little out of the price range of what we can get. If your willing to spend a little more, that would defineatly be the car to get.

99-01 Cobras I have seen on ebay for 11k & under.

Update.
Through USAA I could get up to 19k loan and have a %6.39 rate over 72 months or a %5.89 rate over 60 months.
And insurance through the same I have now would be $1700 for 6 months.

you can get a 72 month car loan on a 5 year old car??? IF usaa does that, its not very smart loan to get..did you make sure they know its a USED car and not NEW?

I guess. I made sure they know its a used car, %100 sure. I wouldn't do the 72 month loan anyways. way to long.
