Solution for high gas prices
Get one of those new Smart cars. My neighbor has one. It looks like a golf cart with a shell around it. The rims are a big whopping 15", with a 1.0 L, 71 HP, 3 cylinder engine. The price range is 11,000-16,000. smart USA - open your mind to the car that challenges the status quo

There is no room in that car, and you would be smashed into being a part of the pavement in an accident. They only get 32-34mpg HWY. My moms 2001 4cyl accord gets 36mpg's. ![]() And you have a new car payment, so whats the point? Your not saving money. ![]() I'd buy a used honda, nissain, or toyota for less and get better mileage, and have room for stuff and 4 people. ![]() Just my .02 and wheres the damn wind up key hole on those things? lmao |

I posted this because I thought that it looked funny, not to enrage people into a brawl.
I don't like it. I bet you could take it on the local golf course and no one would stop you. I saw one on Hwy 10 on my way back from Disney World earlier this year. I couldn't imagine driving it on the Inst.![]() ![]() ![]()

they may not be the safest cars on the road, but they can't be that bad... most accidents on the autobahn are far worse than accidents on the highway here...

Yeah, may not crush.
But I bet the force and concussion for those crashes will cause more damage than anything. That compartment doesn't have any give so all that force is going straight through the body and into its passengers.... |

lmao.....go do some reaseach about it before you talk about it...they are some of the safest cars on the road. meaning you have a less chance of getting hurt in the smart car than another car.

I was talking about the force and concussion of the crash. That solid frame doesn't dissipate the force. I bet the person or persons in there would be badly hurt from the force of the crash, may not be hit by the car but the force will hit em. |

The passenger cage is designed to cut through the opposing vehicle in an accident. Much like a wedge will split a log. It's cage is supposed to be far stronger than a Nascar cage.
