some pics of my final architecture studio project (DUW)

it is a multi-use facility that has offices, computer labs, restaurant, and more. the site is in downtown houston (west of the bank of america building). the entire project was designed on the computer. i used a combination of autocad, 3dstudiomax, 3dviz, adobe photoshop, abobe illustrator. i also did an animation of my architecturaql concept using abobe premiere. it is around 4 minutes long and way too big of a file to upload.

anyway here are a few of my final renderings. btw, i am finally done with school

Texas Tech has one of the best architecture schools in the country. Other schools with good reputations from my 3 years with an Architecture firm are Tulane, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Oklahoma State. UTSA has a good program that I am looking into now.

Whatever you do DO NOT go to a school like ITT or Hallmark. I speak from Experience. I fell in that trap. I have a A.S. Engineering Design/CAD from ITT and it has gotten me NOWHERE. None of my classes transfered to Oklahoma State when I got my first real degree from there. And when I applied for CAD or design jobs with legit big companies I got pretty much laughed at

don't forget u of houston :woot: rice isn't too bad either. you will definitely learn more in an accredited architecture program than you would in a cad program at a tech school. if you want to learn cad and not architecture, that is what you would prob get from a tech school.

Ya, I am not knocking U of Houston, I worked in Morris' Orlando office so i didnt hear much of them. I am sure they have a better rep out here.
