    somethings up with my steering...?

    a few weeks ago i started my car and was backing up out of my parking spot and when i turned the wheel i heard this nasty ass sound (like something is rubbing or gridding or something) so i turned the wheel all the way left then all the way right and back and forth a few times and it stopped making the noise when turned the wheel. this would happen every time i started the car.. after about a week it stopped doing it all together and i figured everything is fine, now just this morning it started doing it again... i got under the car, all of the bushings seem in cood condition and theres no wiggling around at all

    anyone have any suggestions?


    ram air intake, custom made bumper ram
    air system, short throw shifter with UPR
    reaper pistol grip shift knob 3.73 gears
    with posi, wheels from 01 mustang,
    firehawk indy 500 RWL tires, 1 inch
    wheel spacers in back, bbk
    underdrive pulley kit, spoiler

    Check the dust shields to make sure one of them is not rubbing on the rotor.

    it cant be that because it only does it when i start the car, it doesnt do it when i'm driving

    i dont know too much about steering, is there a power steering pump or something, where is the power steering resivoir on a 98 v6?

    Should be on the left side closer to the front than back

    Sounds like the PS pump is taking a crpaola......
    The resevor is on the pump frt of eng on I beleive rt side when looking in at it.
