So I played it, beat it, and kinda disappointed. dont get me wrong it had some cool combo's, decent force powers which were kinda limited, but its the same four or five worlds that you go through twice. wasnt really worth the hype to me...but i was used to playing the KOTOR versions of star wars so maybe im being hard on it. overall a decent renter but would not buy it...coud be beat in one day too if you have time to kill.

yeah thats pretty much my EXACT thoughts on the matter...
I beat it in 2 days but it wasn't that much playin time. Could be done in a day. After beating it I tried the next difficulty level and once I max out all the stats and abilities I'll probably never play it again.

One thing is its just like God of War in a lot of way which is f'n awesome but just really lacked in the storyline and scenery. Replayability is nil too

I've played KOTOR 1 and 2 about (I kid you not) 15 times each. And it just never gets old.
I even recently started another bout of 2 on my 360 just before unleashed came out and despite the issues with a xbox game on 360 its still just as badass as the day I bought it.

yeah, as a girlfriend that likes to watch her man play.... I was expecting it to turn into the "other woman!"

I was very disappointed in it. The storyline was okay for a little bit; but it had the potential to be so much more.

I just wanted more options. Like KOTOR to be able to choose your own destiny. Even just the option to choose to really be the rebel or follow Vaders orders. Basically to be good or evil. Thats where the game really lost me

yeah but thats all there is, dunno if youve played the KOTOR versions Dave, but you can choose to do extra missions they bring up through the whole game, however with each of those missions they determine if you are leaning towards good or evil say if you kill a guy instead of saving him or if you choose not to save somone and leave him in captivity, and your force powers can be different because of that the more you lean one way. thats what he means...less options to choose where to go and what to do...just kinda gotta do what they give you.

I never got into those. A little "too much" for me.

I thought the overall game was great. I agree with Rob, though. More levels would have been nice. Going to the same 3 places twice kinda bugged me the 2nd time around. The black lightsaber crystal is pimp, though.

yeah i heard about the black one, but i never found it KOTOR were pretty long and not for everybody, i loved'em but my bro hated that it took so long to get from place to place. honestly had i never played the long ones i think i would have loved the game. i went through the game both ways, Vader was a bitch to beat when you do the sith ending for some reason, but ehh was worth the rent...
