Don't get my started on dealerships. I will never, ever leave my car at a dealer for service. And I never said I was a tech, I said I knew what I was talking about since I had dealt with that problem. I'm sure you have worked on numerous 94-95s right? I bet. I'm working on finding some documentation from Ford about this, but in the meantime, we're all wrong, and you're right buddy. It's everyone's tires, that magically vibrate at 55-65, with the many many different brands and sizes. Nice theory. This is like my 5th set of tires on this car, I guess they all had problems right? Wrong.

Ok maybe those bushings fixed YOUR car but what makes you think it will fix his? There are so many scenarios what can cause this particular problem that he can throw thousands of dollars at it and never fix it.There are alot of things that this man should check but what I was trying to point out and you seem to ignore is that the majority of what I see as any cause of tire shake WILL be tire related after all that is what is rolling right?Second he needs to check for any looseness in the suspension and steering and go from there.

Update!I looked through all the TSB's regarding tire shake or steering nibble from 94-98.I couldn't find any information regarding this. That's probably why I didn't remember such a thing. Please understand that I never intended to turn this into a flame war texsn95.If you thumb through some of JOHNP's posts he did state that his ball joints were loose. He also asked if it would be a good idea to replace the A arm bushings while he was there.Personally if it was my car I would replace them because I don't like to go back twice.I think he's on the right track as far as fixing his problem because he had his tires and wheels checked and trued. On another note I do quite often see too many people jump to a conclusion as far as methods of diagnosis. There is a proper way to balance and true a tire and it always seems 9 out of 10 cars i see are not balanced correctly. That is why I did point out to check tires first.
Can we be friends? ![]()
