Stereo Install in SA
Does anyone know of a good place to get a stereo installed. I want to put a new head unit 2 amps and some new speakers. Just looking for a place that will do a good job and not skimp on running speaker wires and splice into the factory one, stuff like that.

custom sounds does some of the best work, but they are proud of their prices and they act like they are doing you a favor when it comes to trying to talk to a sales person. i dont like how they(sales people) treat customers, but the installers do top notch, clean installs. i like the guys over at sunset imports on walzem. ive bought several things from them, but i install all my stereo stuff. they did the alarm on my dodge truck. alarm, with power door lock actuators $150. custom sounds would be three times that. sunset is very reasonable on all their prices (parts and labor) but i have no expirence with their stereo installs. good and quick with the alarm install, with no problems or complaints.

Say no to Bad Boy Audio.
Got tint and alarm done by these guys. Charged me 350 for the job. The tint peeled in two corners in less than four days. The alarm goes off every 30 min. (except when at the shop), so I can't even use it. Spent 5 business days at their shop after my work day and waited for the "tint guy" and "alarm guy" to show up, and they we always "missing" or "not answering their phones." I got a lot of apologies and no customer service. I just gave up. They install stereos as well, but do not do business with these guys unless you are related to them. While I spent five afternoons there, the owner's brothers, cousins, and "personal friends" got what they needed while I kept getting the runaround. I'm still not sure how they are still in business. Just my 2 cents. Go anywhere else!
