stock v6 spline count?

does anybody know the spline count on a stock 2002 v6 axel? i want to put them in my 93 fox body for a 5 lug convert. i know my rear end is an 8.8 and the v6 is a 7.5. but this is all i know. anybody know something i should know?

28.. and im pretty sure the axles from a 2002 wont fit in the housing.. correct me if im wrong but i believe its only 94-98 that wil fit in there

I would just get the 8.8, with the 7.5 you don't have the 31 splines.

8.8's come with 28 spline as well

I ment you don't have the option of getting the 31 spline with the 7.5" rear.
