Well yeah... that's why I didn't race last year. Now I'm all "bolted-on" and tuned but I may have other commitments. You won't know what you're working with though unless you get out there. Do you think your car is that slow??

Better than I, cuz I still haven't run anything yet. I'd be happy with that my first time out. Even if I don't go this time, I want to go eventually. Is there ever a LSS sponsored drag day or is it just private arrangements??

It's just for fun. I would imagine all types of cars out there. You can pick who you want to race. Like a grudge match type thing.

Yes that would be me. You inspired me to make my car go faster now though.

Im getting some new gears put in so I can pick up some top end. It sucked going past about 118-120 in fourth. It took too long to build up speed past that point.

lol. Not really, but im happy with how well I kept up for a stock pullied unported eaton. Let's meet at the track, I think I would have more of an advantage there.

Im going with some smaller gears, accufab t/b plenum and weight reduction for now. Come winter Ill see what I want to do then. My main concern is not to overpush this stock block though right now.

If I could sell my bike I could move forward a little faster with this project or leave it as is and start a N/A build on an old Camaro or Nova. 500+hp.....

Im pretty disappointed to say the least. Best run was an 11.55 @ 118.

I lost 3mph somewhere, but improved my sixty. I wonder if that full tank of gas is hurting me.

I wouldn't go back to this event on another note. Eh, I have more fun on wednesday nights.

It hooked ok, considering I had a full tank of gas to help it. I know on my first run it spun a little bit. After that I couldn't tell, but listening to the tape it sounds like I can hear a little bit of spinning. Not much though.

Mik'e car(white mach 1) wasn't hooking for crap. Neither was a bike I drove down the quarter mile, it broke loose off the line bad.
