i'm happy to say i'm out of the hospital now and recovering pretty damned well. i didn't think i would feel remotely human for a couple days at least, but look at me, i'm posting this online already. i know, i know, i need to take it easy still and i will. no classes, no work, no corps PT etc. for a week.

oh, and for those of you who don't know, i came down with a fever/nausea/infected throat/bronchitis/etc. a couple days ago but just thought it was a small cold. i didn't go to classes yesterday and slept for 13 hours straight. i was so dehydrated and sick i could barely crawl to get help or talk at all, but managed to get to the hospital with help from the gf dragging my ass to a bus stop. :2thumbup:

they ended up stabbing me at least 9 times (that i can count on me) getting blood sample and trying to get an IV in me but my veins were collapsing and not showing up due to dehydration. i was so out of it i don't remember much but i do remember some pain.

anyways, i'm back on my feet sorta and i can eat again. the pasta i ate felt like gumby juice and made me feel normal again. i'm killing time here at my gf's apartment where's she still taking care of me. she's at classes right now. i can't sleep any more and i have nothing to do. i think i'll read a book and take a bath.

PS - i had asked my gf to go here and post a thread saying i'd be gone for a little while, but as it turns out she didn't post it apparently.

wow... damn. glad to hear you are ok. yea, i remember when i called you saturday, you sounded sick as hell, but i figured i probably woke you up, mighta been resting for the game. wow.. well glad to hear you are ok. and hey... what are girlfriends for eh? i mean.. well, you know.:P

yeah, i was sick then.

right after i got out this morning and came back to the apartment i slept for an hour or so with jenn (gf) and 'accidentally' tried to start something with her. she said no, that i was too weak (i've done this before, and 'got' what i wanted, and felt like crap afterwards).

so i'm on a sex embargo for my own good.

i swear... i could be on my death bed and still would want to tap some ###. austin = strong like bull!

At least you did not go the the health center on campus...by the time you got out of there you would have been in a body bag!

good to hear you are ok...and have your man thinking back! Enjoy the time off school and work and all the corps crap!

actually it was at Beutal where they gave me the IV. it wasn't their fault, but they kept messing up my IV. first they tried my hand, then my underside of my arm, then up where you give blood, then further down my arm... not fun.

when you're dehydrated your veins collapse, move, and are hard to plug into apparently.

i feel like a bum. eat, drink, sleep, post, repeat.
