I always wondered if the fluids were being changed my self. I need to find a good shop to do the maintenance I am not able to do myself.

Thanks for the video. I am sure not all Jiffy Lubes are this way, but you never know.

i did my own little 'undercover' reporting as well. i personally know the parts manager at a ford dealership and he trusts me. well, i went in for an oil change (its free for me) and they came back saying my brake pads needed changing... and i had checked them about 10k miles ago. so i took it to my own lift and checked them out myself... i had more than half wear left on them! so i go to my parts manager friend all pissed and ratted the f&$* out of the asshole who tried to f*#) me over. as a matter of respect i haven't asked what happened to the guy, but i can only imagine he got in some sort of trouble, though i doubt he lost his job.

this is why i do everything myself on my car... from brakes to oil to well, everything!!! man this pisses me off. i respect cars and take care of them, and to see people that do no respect them and charge money like that pisses me off so bad i can't see straight.

military gets free oil changes at a ford dealership out here in california, so i let them touch my car, but that's about it!

lol well if i was rich like you the budget pc i build wouldnt have been budget haha.. give me a month or 2 and i will be running crossfire with 2 ATI 3850s.... that will run any game out on high settings with almost NO difference in power hehehe

and jiffy lube FTL

worked for me. and believe me, you don't want to see the vid cause it'll just piss you off. and that is exactly why i do all my own stuff. take it to the auto crafts store on post and do my work on a lift.
