such a sad sad day for me. (good bye stang)

Well...... the Mustang is gone. Sometime during Oct.-Nov. I will buying a new car. for now i will be on foot. I should have gone to the track on Thursday to get one more run outta the beast :sad1:

I was this sad when i sold my 1996 GT. i had 5 years with that stang with over 100k that i put on myself, the 2001 had 85K (both were bought new). So I have been a mustang owner since 1996 (for almost 7 years , i'm 22) that makes me even sadder.

I'm gonna be looking into getting a BMW or a Benz, so if any of you guys know somewhere that I could get a good deal at chime in.

I will still be at all the forums that i am currently a member of, helping people out with their Mustangs.... even though I don't have one anymore.

i'm off to buying a bottle of whiskey...... any sad car songs i could listen to while i drink ?

I might be getting another one when i'm older and miss mustangs even more. but for now i need something that will make me look more serious. not a kid drag racing anymore. because that's the stereotype that's around here.

Your 22 and worried that you seem inmature cuz you drive a stang.

WTF...
I am 43 and drive a MACH1 and I could give two shits less if anyone thinks I am inmature because of the car I drive. I pay for it and its what I want to drive.Opinions are like assholes everyone has one. This is mine.

I agree! Forget about people and how they will stereotype you based on what car you drive. I mean seriously... if you're THAT worried about what people are thinking, thats just rediculous.

You shouldn't worry about what others think. You live your life for the things that make you happy, not to satisfy others. Personaly I think you should drive what satisfys you. Remember you live your life no one lives it for you. just my.02

So you want to drive a Benz and look like a stuck up yuppie? or drive the F150 for now and look like some backwwods redbeck hillbilly. Give me a break, there's a stupid stereotype for everycar. Drive what you want to drive and who gives a shit about what other people think.

I drove my 92 GT off the lot new when I was 21. I'm 33 now, and always feel young when I drive her around. My kids love going for rides in her as well.

BTW, she has 178,000 miles on it and I took her to the track for the first time EVER this past Thursday and layed out a 13.6. These forged 302's are durable!!!

What I;m tryiing to say is drive what makes you happy...not what makes satisfies someone elses image of you.
