suspension info

I have a 67 and was told that it was a v6 car that was changed to a v8 289 , how do i know if the suspension is still v6 stuff and how do i go about changing it ,, it seems to hold the v8 just fine... safe to say got a lot to learn about this one...

its still 4 lug and has a 289 , with a c4

It was a 6cyl if it is 4 lug.
You really need to upgrade to 5 lug spindles and the bigger rear axle plus youll get improved brakes in the deal

i plan on putting disc in the front and would like to put a 8.8 with drums in the back...but you know how it is , time and money ...... more money than anything :0)

Youll have to change the spindles to get disc brakes on the frt and you really should get V8 springs in it as well

You can keep the drum spindles and buy adapters to use the SN95 Cobra/Mach 1/Bullitt 13" front setup. You have to run 17" wheels with it though.

Don't those adapters only work on V8 spindles?
or are they the same for a 6 cyl in 67?
