I used to have 2 12" Infinity Reference Series, i only ran them off my Pinoneer sterio but they sounded good. i didn't want to hook up my amp cause it was in a 1981 F-150 and there was no carpet on the inside and no head liner and it would have just rattled the hell out of everything. I think the amp i had was a Legecy 600wt, i never used it once and i sold it and the subs to a friend a while back. then i sold the boxes to a buddy on LSS!

Ok thats cool. Ya I realize what your saying. I dabble in electronics and used to think I ought to build my own amp. I never did it because designing the DC to DC swtiching power supply nessessary for a High Power auto amp was something I didn't know how to tackle. What voltage do you use on the output of your DC to DC converters?

NICE!!!!

Focal =

I used to compete back in the early 90's in IASCA. I haven't done much lately to that caliber since the performace piece gets in the way before sound system does.

Right now:

JVC head unit
PPI 250w amp (4ohm)
2x RF Punch XLC 10's
BA components
RF 300.4 amp
Audio Control 24XS

All of this is in the black coupe

Ahhh PPI...I have one in my truck that I have had since 1991 baby! It still kicks ass and has been in use ever since.

The JL's are their latest series...I forget which ones they are to be honest...I had some jl8w6 that I ran for 12 years so I really wasn't concerned with model numbers..I just know JLs rock. Thse 10's have HUGE freaking magnets.

I just got rid of an Autotek 88w amp that I have had for almost 10 years. It pushed two 10's and 4 5x7's.
