I have a fully ported and polished stock plenum if you need one to try it out.
I personally have a Accufab 75MM t-body connected to a Dragon plenum.

The best plenum value out there is probably the Trick Flow one for $99.

Yeah u can get a lower intake, throttle and plenium from profesional products on I believe UPR.com for $599.00. I think if your going to go all out have a built motor yeah buy accufab but if its just stock no big deal go with a cheaper one.

in my newest muscle mustang there is a brothers performance add in there with a professional produts 75mm tb and plenum combo for 219.99(satin finish). im kinda thinking about getting that combo and then a cai, but i dont have exhaust and think that it would be too much air in and not enough out for the moment.

accufab hands down, makes twice as much torque gain and better area under the curve. if you cant afford it yet, wait for it. dont get the cheap stuff that is proven to not make the same gains.
Interesting fact. On my friends heads cam pi swap.... it was tuned and made 301/322 with stock intake. After adding a JLT it made 297/320. There are many factors that may skew numbers a bit but if a car is already tuned, you will often see little to no gains with a coldair. This car already had the silencer removed on the stock air box and a k&n. Spend money on the mods that actually count. why blow 200 or 300 in parts on a 6 hp gain when you can spend 600 in parts on a 30 rwhp gain. stick to real gains. LT headers and midpipe, pullies, tune. a car with these mods will blast your typical mustang that has a bunch of miscelaneous boltons.

JLT CAI is better for track times as it does not retain the heat as the metal or aluminum ones do.

It's LOUD but YOU looked!
|
look at my list... Trick flow is a great upper intake... then port it yourself.
as for a MACH1... it's the same as a BBK (since BBK ripped the design off) and save $$$/ plus, my MACH 1 intake already has a hidden hole (plugged stock) for a NOS nozzle later if you decide on going that route. I love it, and as 95 GTS said, don't spend more $$ on name and looks and misc bolt ons... spend $$ were it counts. save when you can. and put the difference into your exhaust
