mike- i thought aggie night was the first wednesday of every month? are y'all going tomorrow because last wednesday was rained out? my slicks are in dallas and won't be here till friday so i won't be able to go. i plan to go to aggie night on may 5th though.... i gotta hit up the nasty one more time before i graduate.

i did the autox events through the car club my freshman year (back in '98). as much fun as they were i still prefer the feeling of launching HARD on slicks and rowing through the gears at the drag strip.

If you go to the auto-x at the old airfield, you WILL be asked to leave if you're doing any "unauthorized" racing or burnouts. Just a little FYI.

Its been said but the TAMSCC has bad apples that have given the whole group a bad rep. I am a member and i did encounter these "bad apples" however i met some really cool people and am glad i joined. I would not listen to others and let them make my mind up for me. If you want to know what the club is all about come to an event and talk to a few members. youll begin to feel out the ass holes. And as in every group you have people who prefer drag over twisties and twisties over drag. I never really considered the handling of my car before i met these guys and they enlightened me a lot about auto-x/road racing. Now i try to contribute my time equally among both. You may have a similar experience or you may hate auto-x and stick to drag and there are plenty of memeber who do that.

v6 guy- hows this a bad topic? tamscc is the largest collegiate sports car club in the nation, you should come to some our events , the auto-x's are some really fun things to do even if you suck at driving , we also do rallyes, scavenger hunts ( car related, veryfun) , car shows @ rudder, meets etc.

all yall qith questions also check out www.tamscc.org , some areas are off limits to you as a non member but the guest area and some other parts are accessible as a guest. hope to see some yall at some the events.

Since tonight is Aggie night there should be a few cars at the track right? So, i think everyone that can go tonight should go. Who cares if you dont like the club, run your own car or just come to watch. Hell im not even an aggie, i go to blinndergarden. What do ya say guys?

Hell, im just really bored and i just finished all my tests today and i have nothing to do and nothing to study for. If this doesnt work i'll be hanging out with the ricers tonight at O'riellys.

went to nasty, not a huge crowd but none the less we had fun, tamscc guys showed with a 70 mock mach...67 bullitt..2 modulars, 1 5.0 , 1 3.8 and 1 exploder powered tbird. there was one ls1 t/a that owned most the modulars and there was a lot of bikes, but it was fun. theres also a rallye this friday, meeting at zacahry lot pa51 at 630 on friday.

also you dont have to be in aTm to join the club, ive been heavily involved while im at blinn and will continiue when i go to SHSU next semester and start the shsuscc, you can go to blinn or nowhere, its a car club, as long as your a car person your fine.

So yeah, i met one of the guys from the TAMSCC last night. It was either the 70 mach or the 67 bullit, not sure which one but it was red. Anyways, he had the hood poped and was checking the oil. I walked up and was checking out the car and told him it was nice, without even looking at me he said "get out of my light!" I was like "dude chill" and he didnt say anything. So i dont know if he was just having a bad night or something. He seemed like a real pissy kind of guy. Anyways, im not saying all of the TAMSCC is like that, but i dont like this one guy.

1st off as a mustang guy im gonna tell you this

1)a 70 looks nothing like a 67
2)one car is a mach1....shoudl be extremely obvios which one it was
3) i still love you

and he was having a oil leak all night and we couldnt find it at the track until we got to orielyls and had some light...so he was kinda frustrated , but normally hes pretty cool and laid back, apparently it was his pcv valve or whatever wasnt sealed right.
