typically a group goes to the nasty on aggie nights (thursday) and meet at sonic's at friday. i've been to the track with one of the officers but i've since lost touch with the guy. he had a nice late 60-ish vette though, well, it'll be nice once it's restored!

if the weather is good there is usually a pretty good Aggie turnout.

The A&M sports car club usually does auto cross as well at the riverside annex.

well a lot of the members/non members go to aggie night 1st wednesday of every month, when its not rained out, as it has been since before winter. also tamscc doesnt affiliate themselves with any the meets in town for university sponsorship reasons, and the fact i dont think one officer goes to them.

i am a member of the texas aTm sports car club and i have enjoyed being a member and attending the events, we will be holding an auto-x this sunday, this will be the costas-cross ( longest auto-x of the year , typically a real power course ) , the cost is 15$ for non member, 10$ for a member. joining is 15$ a semester, 25$ a year, 100 for life. the membership pays for itself quickly if you come to 3 events a semester, we also do rallyes, car shows, drag racing, and other random things, check out the sports car clubs website at http://www.tamscc.org , you can post as a guest but some areas are off limits to non members. hope to see some yall at some our events!!!

also if you ahve any questions about tamscc or on auto-x class for your stang let me know and ill try to help you out. my aim is mikespeed95

there are some certain members that can be an a-hole, but as with any other club thats just inevitable, most of them are extremely cool, and ive had nothign but a positive experience being a member with it, come check out an event/meeting with me sometime, i have no problem letting n00bs ride/possible codrive at an auto-x or ride with us in a rallye, just watch out, my fwd civic might turn you to the dark, torqueless world of honduh :firedevil : : typer :

also 1/2 the people who diss the club come to an event and have some total retard who isnt even involved with the club make a dick out of the club when they arent even in it, at an event if someone makes a jackhole out of themselves just ignore em, or find me and ill figure out who it is and make sure the problem gets adressed by the officers.

you'd be surprised....

there's "ghettostang" that runs in every autox even I've been out there to... anything can compete... doing well is a different story...

most of the TAMSCC guys aren't mustang guys so if you have the mentality that mustangs > all then you won't like them... I'm friends with the old President and a few others... good people and a blast to be around...

well, if they have the mentality that mustangs = shit, then i definitely wont like them... and most non-mustang owners beleive that, so... oh well.

are you looking for an excuse to not even give them a chance or something?

not everyone likes mustangs, i do. yall dont like hondas ( i really dont a lot either) but who really cares, as long as you like cars thats all tamscc really is, a bunch of car guys, smack talk is inevitable. however the president , vice pres, and treasurer all drive mustangs, as well as the drag chair, auto-x chair....i think frank the social chair drives a bone stock ls1 with exaust, even though its faster than all the modded mustangs a majority of the officers have them

bahaha Frank rocks! and Corn!

they both drive ls1's and I met them off of Fordpower.net Some of the people don't like mustangs... but there are enough people that you don't really associate with everyone...
