The Bucket's results from tonight
Well, I went and did it. I did a full nitrous run on a 4K launch. First one was against a SICK LS1 GTO with full exhaust and cam. He couldn't...along with the rest of us hook at all. The track was horrible. With 550psi of bottle pressure (which SUX), here are the results...
Me: Him: 60'-1.7574 2.2516 1/8 mile-7.5593@93.63 8.8077@85.08 1/4 mile-11.6578@116.67 13.3184@108.10 Next run was against a SS Silverado AWD...I killed him so will only post his 1/4 mile time..My bottle pressure was down below 500psi and the track was slick as hell Me: 60'-1.8081 1/8 mile-7.8036@88.62 1/4 mile-11.9479@117.96 He ran a 14.8215@ 89.43 The last 2 runs were N/A and I think the Bucket's clutch is giving up. My mph is usually around 110-112 and on the last 2 runs it was 107.xx 60'-1.7189 1/8 mile-7.9511@87.60 1/4 mile-12.3943@107.53 (against an exhaust and lid WS6...he ran a 12.8) Last run... 60'-1.7113 1/8 mile-7.9487@87.63 1/4 mile-12.4061@107.07 So, it's official...the Bucket is in the mid 11 second zone and with bottle pressure where it should be...low 11's and maybe a high 10 is very probable. Time to get a new clutch, too many 6K rpm launches on this poor Spec Stage 1.

Mitch, clutch could be a possibility. Did you check your tire press between runs? As the night got colder, I bet your press went down and hence slower top end speed. I'm assuming you checked before 1st run and had them at 12-13 (spray runs) and ended up with maybe 10 at the end (N/A runs).
