TUBING IN THE FRIO!!!! lol jk its really cold that time of the year. Here are some pictures when i went in April last year. Its really nice scenery.... Also if you go the long way through kerville and up I-10 instead of going hwy90 there are alot of turns and stuff in the roads. But going hwy 90 you get the straight shot where you can push the pedal down but have to be careful cause of you have to go though castroville and hondo.

depends on which way you got. If you go down 1604 to hwy 90 its about 1 hour 30 mins.

if you go i10 through kerville its over 2 hours.

Being a State Park, the entrance fee should be waived if you are a Park Pass Member, and we may get a discount on the cabins ... Anyone interested in sharing cabins?

    What is it?
The Texas State Parks Pass is an annual pass that offers many special benefits. As a passholder, you and your guests can enjoy unlimited visits to more than 90 state parks and state historic sites without paying the daily entrance fee. With the pass, you'll also receive exciting discounts on camping (restrictions apply), park store merchandise and recreational equipment rentals and are eligible for other special promotions.
