The Flu season is still here!

Well I took Mason to the docs yesturday and it came back that he has the flu. I get a call from the school today that Austin has a fever of 103 and he got the flu shot and already got the flu on December 20. Can i get a WTF!!!! So we are going back to the docs today!!!

flu shot = worthless. i always get sicker on the rare occasion i actually get one

Same here! When I get the Flu shot I get the Flu. If I dont I am good to go!

Back from the doc and it came back negative!!! Thank you lord! He has a really bad sinus infection.

the flu shot only protects against a few strains... and there's a few dozen strains of the flu floating around.

yeah i am praying i dont get it! I didnt get it when Austin had it. Yeah chips you are right the flu shot only protects against on strain.

I get a flu shot every year and I feel luck, as I haven't had the ful in years. So far, I haven't had a cold either. I hope my luck holds out as I am a baby when I'm sick.

Right now here in san antonio if you have allergies they are really acting up.....I went back to the Doc for the second time in one month for the same thing....they seem to think it's cause of the fire in Helotes.....

I don't believe the fire has anything to do with it. The allergens are up and down from day to day. It is more likely from the fronts that are moving in from the north. That fire just seems to be an excuse for everything.

And Helotes is like all the way west of Converse where they live. But who knows.

I hope everyone feels better....and keeps their germs to themselves!!

wow never thought about that my allergies are really bad which is slightly unusual even for me lots of sneezing, itch eyes beyond itchy red, and watery and i get headaches really bad and duh helotes is right around the corner could be

yeah, same here. Damn Army gave us mandatory flu shots over here and boom, I was sick 2 days later
