The Red Demon

This is another 03 Mach 1 build up. It belongs to my Brother. We call it The Red Demon. For some reason he cant post up on the forum. So I'm doing it for him. Then he can pick up on it later.

The current mods include some FR500 wheels 17X9 up front and 17X10.5 in the back, C&L intake, BBK T/B, BBK Under Drive Pulleys, Steeda Tri Ax Shifter, BBK Long Tube Headers, BBK O/R X Pipe, and some Flows. Everything was installed by me and my brother. Its never been dyno'd so we dont know what kind of numbers were at now. All we know is that it is pritty quick, but he wanted more.

So thats where the 03 Cobra conversion begins. (Started Date.. 12/22/07) were are still not done, we think it might take about 3 more weeks, due to parts issues. He already has most of the parts but he's missing the little things. All in time. here are some pics. We'll post some more as the build progresses.

Thats my baby in the front. black_stang_02

heres where we started to take it apart.

here are some of the parts.

more disassembly. those valve covers were a pain in the a$$.

and the it begins the assembly.thats the new timing cover installed complete. the supercharger is not installed just temp installed.

That's pretty sweet. Are you going to put the shaker back on? I've seen it done on some KB'd Machs...

I know who you're talking about. He kept the shaker off and had a window put in the hole.

Chris, your bro's ride is going to be completely sick when you guys are done! You got pretty far after I left on Saturday.I was so giddy w/ excitement when I got home Saturday after we did my X-pipe,after Kim heard the new sound of my car she wanted to drive it,so I went into some momentary lapse of reason and let her!She did ok for never driving a 5 speed,I figure I lost only lost about 3,000 mi. of clutch in the 30 minutes she was driving,so I came out way ahead! We can fix that too, right? Thanks for your help,if you need anything call.Later.

we finally got her started (red demon) here is a small vid of what she sounds like. now we need to tune and drive. I just love that winding sound it makes. it took us a while but it was well worth it an hour here an hour there. cant wait to see what it does on the dyno.

hay myblack93gt it really isn't that hard to do all that really takes time is finding all the parts at a good price. But with a little pasions and luck on ebay and forums, you can do it. And also having the time to work on it. My brother (blak_stang02) and I only got the weekends to work on it....And it took us 2 months to finish
