ok, the next shoot-a-thon will be on febuary 19th in elmendorf(directions will be pm'd to those going) just south of san antonio.

mr. and mrs. bighoss have a nice chunk of land down there, and they are the shizznizzle, so they are gunna let us have the shoot-a-thon at their place again.

we all had a blast last time, and i know we will this time as well. the only difference is that we will not be staying overnight this time.

basically, the plan is to meet over there around noon and to shoot until it's dark. we should be able to get in a solid 6 hours of shooting. we'll grill lunch down there too. the meet will end as soon as it gets dark(we have to get back in before the chupacabras show up).

rules:

no stupidity
no drinking and shooting
clean up all trash
have fun

so who plans on going? please don't say you are going unless you are absolutely sure

is the mp-5 class III? i know ammo will be burnt up fast, so i'll be happy to pick up some surplus 9mm at the gun show...


btw, there is room for long range shooting. if i have time, i will be making a few plywood silohettes(i have no idea how to spell that).

ok..ok..i'm gonna have to hit the gun show and load up!!..i'm gonna need ALOT OF AMMO!!...yes....i have quite a few class 3 and form 4 toys....need to tell my buddy to load a few lite loads for the .50....jus in case a newbie wants to try it...lol...

man, i'm so jealous! it'll probably be at least 3 or 4 years before i'll have enough cash to buy a cheap NFA toy, and another year and a half until i'm legal to buy it seeing how i'm only 19:sad3: ...

just tell me what calibers you need, and i'll try to pick some up(if i have enough money). shit, 50 cal runs about $2 a round alone...

most gun shows i go to have all those tables selling ammo, and there's usually at least one selling surplus 50bmg rounds for ~$2 a piece. ive seen live rounds as cheap as $1 a piece for 50bmg fmj...

wow!!..when i look for them at the shows i'm usually a little leary at those rds ...i'll buy 9mm and .223 and .556 and 7.62 and i'll even shoot wolf thru the AK....jus worry about shooting junk thru that big of a bore....

i just got my cabelas shooting catalog, and i noticed remanufactured 50bmg for sale in there... cabelas has it for as cheap as $80 for 50 rounds - thats less then $2 a round, and i would trust cabelas.
