The Shops at La Cantera

Has anyone gone shopping there yet?

They opened yesterday. Me and Michelle are thinking about checking it out today.

They suck! that's the same exit as the exit i take for utsa everyday... and now the traffic is horrible! yesterday, heading home, the traffic was backed up all the way to 281!

but anyways, my friends went yesterday, said it was cool... they even saw david robinson @ the sony store. oh and they said it was hot, cuz it's not an indoor mall.

Yeah it is not an indoor mall. It is like a mall without the roof.

Well it was the first day, traffic will relax as people get over it.

As for the mall, finally an Apple store in San Antonio. The mall rocks.

Yeah I work there, its been nuts depending on when you go, but the parking lot has been packed all day both days...traffic will die down eventually, but certain areas of the mall are always going to be packed...especially on the weekends...

and yeah robinson was at the Sony Style store, Im a manager there. He came in today again with his kids cuz they wanted to see the tv that he looked at yesterday. everybody was following him around, felt kinda bad for him actually since his kids were there in the crowd of people that followed him around...

just to give you an idea of how many people are visiting these past two days, my traffic counter for the store read 4986 yesterday and about 5600 today. those are how many people exited and entered my store...its been nuts having that many people in such a small store...

There is a Regis there and my reginal told me that the employee's had to park at Fiesta Texas and they were shuttled over cause they could not park in the parking lots!!!

Ill pass on that whole deal but hey thanks for bringing in a HUGE mall and plunking it in 1 of the worst areas in town for traffic congestion and shitty road design....

I've become to cheap to shop at malls anymore. I only go to Rolling Oaks for 2 occasions -- buying tools or appliances at Sears and when I'm visiting Jen and Heather at the salon. I quit buying clothes and started buying stuff for the house. How many women have ya heard saying that??
