no i know that but just because you do the 4v its still a SOHC right??? how much hp will you gain from making your SOHC a 4v or did you switch out the motor to a DOHC

It's a 4v DOHC, and the difference in power is pretty decent.

Could have saved money and used the GTs wiring harness and made it a lot easier on the install that way as well.

Great price on the motor! Wish my new motor cost that much

Holy sheet man. I just literally gave away my cruise control and throttle cables along with my alternator.

Congrats on swapping in the 4v. Where in the heck did you find a motor that cheap? I have been looking for one but only thing I see is 3k+.

So when does the modding start of more aftermarket parts?

TonyGT - congrats on the swap - I'd kill to have a 4V squeezed in my 2V - I stay out in North Texas too - dallas area - gonna do a cruise with some locals to texasmotorplex for Fast Friday 2-29-08 - I'll hit you up if you wanna come. Hopefully I'll have my 4.10's installed before then. I'm taking it to GearHeads.

I think AJ thought he just swap the to 4V heads on the original 2V block
instead of swapping a whole 4V motor, like was done.
