the win = ?

what is the win, bbk cai or wms intake?

bbk intake w/ white face guages= $105
wms velocity tube w/K&N = $60 then I'll probably buy the other part to complete it, which is $70 roughly..

I have heard nothing but good things about Densecharger CAI. No personal experience, but since they aren't metal they say they don't heat up like the chrome ones do, keeps the air charge cooler. Just relaying what some of my buddies have told me though.

Thats why I made mine out of PVC. The air stays a lot cooler that the metal ones.

guys with 4.6's have removed them....(while at the track, so same weather) and gone 1-2 tenths faster....

i know of 3-4 cases of this...

I think it is well worth it unless you just want to go with the chrome look. But the PVC is definately going to flow smooth inside and keep air temps down to a minumum. I have some pics somewhere of it.

I love my denscharger, ran a 14.2 with it and a prochamber in my auto. I noticed a huge difference when we put it on, it just ran so much better, felt like she could breaaaaaaaaattthee!!! We havent taken it off to see what it would do, but its a great design and has definitly made me a believer. Im gonna cry when i have to let it go for the bullitt intake.

PS- the only problem i had was it slipping off the throttle body when i put on the accufab (polished). so i just fixed it by taking off one of the couplers and its gold!:P

get it get it get it

ok...you noticed a huge difference....butt dyno are NOT valid reasoning...sorry

14.2 in your coupe? lilblugeetee ran 14.1 with mufflers and a k&N filter...in an auto vert. so....maybe you got slower???

who knows....

got dyno? or same day on/off track results? nope...

i'm not pointing fingers or starting shit, because everyone's done it at one point or another....

but the world is polluted with people saying, I put this part on and felt a huuuge gain, go buy it. And 20 people listening.

Who's at fault? the 20 people listening....but somewhere, someone has to question it. the smart ones do...some too late; like the said people above. They learned it sucked by taking it off.

i dont know my point of this post...ranting about shit

did you see that 5 page argument about the guy who said dyno gains mean nothing that track times are all that matter.

called me an idiot and all kinds of stuff. Not my fault he is too ingnorant to analyze a dyno curve.

there are so many variables at the track and you have to do the pass on the same day at the same operating temp and consistant driver on "tire" to even get a worthy compariiiison.

you cant use your previous time and go to the track and run 3 mph faster in colder weather and say you gained 3 mph from the mod. He knew nothing about density altitude whatsoever.
