So I am thinking about upgrading the exhaust on my car, 1997 GT, and I just wanted some input on what different exhausts are the loudest, and best sounding. I was thinking of going with the Magnaflow Tru-x O/R X, and the SLP loudmouth 2 mufflers. Thats just a thought though. What do yall think?

getting a o/r h or x pipe is going to give you a loud sound...now muffler wise..iwould stay away from slp...i think they are rasp...i would rather get flowmaster than slp...

usually LOUD, and good sound dont mix lol.

lm2s with o/r x sounds bad ass tho. i went with lts, catted slp x, lm2s. i figure the lts will make it sound like an o/r x with stock manifolds lol...i have a feeling ima swap out tp o/r before my time is done tho(midpipes a lot easier to change on lts i would think)

thanks for the input... I thought that loud and good sounding didnt mix lol. I was really wanting to go with Bassani all the way, but I just dont have the money. Right now I have Flows with the stock mid-pipe. I just wanna be louder. Lol.

Dont get blowmasters. Look at different combos on youtube or streetfire.net to see what you like. Its really gunna be what you like, so why not hear it first.

I already have the Flows, they were the first thing I bought for the car, but now its time to upgrade to something better. How loud would the magnapacks be with with magnaflow o/r x.

Any straight through muffler is gunna be retarded loud with an X-pipe. I had the Magnapacks with and o/r H and I liked it. IDK why I changed.

have you heard slp in person??? this one time at school this guy have slp loud mouths, and every time i saw this guy he would rev up and man it sounded sooo nasty!!! even my girl agreed...soo when i got my magnapaks i parked next to him and i rev up and man all i have to say is i shut his ass up!!!

yea all of us do!!! but its what kind of loud you want to get?? theres "thats loud and sounds good!! or the wow thats loud but sounds ugly..." i started off with magnapaks cuz i got a deal and it was fast...now if i was you i would the x-pipe check how it sounds with flows...besides you should upgrade those flows..lol

I wanna be loud and sound good. Im tired of the Flows with stock H pipe...Lol. I like the magna packs but im not looking to buy a whole cat back system, its like $600 something, lol. The Magnaflow o/r x is like $450.
