ok, we haven't done one of these in a while, and it's about that time again...

as usual, we will be doing this in elmendorf and pm's with directions will be sent to those going. and as always, a huge thanks goes out to mr. and mrs. hoss for making this possible. you guys rock!:mick:


this will be taking place on saturday, july 16 at noon.

if you like shooting, this event is for you! if you haven't been to one before, now is your chance to hang out with some of LSS's gun nuts and fire off a few thousand rounds. these events are a lot of fun and you need to come on out if you can:jeff: i know it will be hot out, but the shooting area is in shade and should be cooler...

what you'll need:

we will need some volunteers to bring food stuffs... hot dogs, buns, chips, sodas, water, etc...

as an individual, you need

-long pants(the brush will be pretty high)
-high top shoes or boots(once again, high brush and burs)
-water(it will be hot. there will be drinks there, but make sure to bring some extra water. we don't need anyone getting heat stroke)
-sunscreen
-firearms and ammunition(whatever you have with the exception of explosives)
-a truck(if you have one - mustangs won't make it to the shooting area)
-chairs
-hearing and eye protection

*note - the brush is pretty high right now, we will try and keep this event at its usual place, but if i check it out and it's way too bad, we may have to move this to the range*

It will definately be an adventure in jungle firearm practice if we dont clear a good spot. But it will still be a lot of fun. If I can get a little help before the event we can clear out an area. But if you want adventure it will be fun.

i've got one of the mechanical launchers. me, rob, and christine built a base for it so it works better... the only problme is that it's in storage until we get moved to our new house. but i do have two manual throwers here - mine, and i guess i ended up with someone elses too.
