Can't wait to see the new grey stang on Sunday you guys! What I saw of it last night looked sweet. Don't worry about the pics as I'll have them covered for sure Bandit :jeff: .....I finally had Kinko's make up a nice sign with my mods on it, and want to get pics of it in front of my ride at the show. I'll shoot any other nice stangs I see while I'm there also. In addition to the sign, I bought some mats and a fire extinguisher so I can be semi-professional at the show. :gt4her: IF anybody else decides to show there's also, please PM me so we can meet up prior to the show and go in together. Hopefully we can have the cars parked close together and chat... :mick:

Kingwood Spring Car Show Sunday, April 24, 2005 - Noon to 6 PM Does the smell of gasoline and motor grease get your heart racing? If so, race on down to the 8 th Annual Doctor Larry’s Automotive Specialists Kingwood Spring Car Show, held Sunday, April 24 th, 2005 from noon to 6 PM in Kingwood’s beautiful Town Center Park. This year’s car show is sponsored by Doctor Larry's Automotive Specialists, A-Line Auto Parts, ACDelco, Cebridge Connections,Office Depot, Car Toys, Silver Eagle Distributors, Tejas Toyota and Scion,Sterling McCall Honda, BMW of Houston North, Deerbrook Forest Chrysler Jeep, Kingwoodnow.com, Extreme Trailers and Gameforce. Local celebrity Sparky Nolan, President of the Kingwood Chamber of Commerce will be emceeing this year’s event. Mr. Nolan is known for his vibrant commentary, and has had a passion for classic cars since his youth. Visitors to this year’s spring car show will not only enjoy the spectacle of hundreds of antique cars, hot rods, street rods, muscle cars, classics, monster trucks, motorcycles and custom rides as they converge on Town Center Park in Kingwood, Texas, but the organizers also have some special treats in store for the attendees. “This year we have been working extremely hard to take the show to a new level,” said Suzanne Juel, whose company, Kingwood Event Coordinators, has been contracted to run both the spring and fall car shows. Featured at this year’s show will be the award winning 1970 Chevelle SS 454 LS6, which recently won Best of Show in its class at the 2004 Houston Autorama. This remarkable vehicle, owned by local resident Gregg Perkin, has been fully restored to its original factory condition by this year’s Title Sponsor, Doctor Larry’s Automotive Specialists located in Humble, Texas. Perkin, who had dreamed of owning a 1970 Chevelle muscle car, worked several years with Larry, the owner of Doctor Larry’s Automotive Specialists, to find and eventually complete the 3-year off-frame restoration of the car. “This is a true, classical, full restoration,” said Larry, of Doctor Larry’s Automotive Specialists. “We were excited to find the Chevelle in Oregon, with the original factory build sheet for the vehicle.” “Doctor Larry has done a phenomenal job restoring this vehicle,” stated Perkin, “He not only coordinated resources from Houston and Chicago for the frame and body restoration, but personally completed the mechanical and electrical work on the car. The car was restored for a cost of approximately $75,000 and has now been appraised at over $150,000.” And if seeing this incredible muscle car is not enough, visitors can stop by the GameForce booth and actually drive it. GameForce, also an event sponsor and conveniently located in Kingwood Town Center, is featuring a Gran Turismo 4 tournament with the finals occurring on the day of the show. Gran Turismo is a brand new PS/2 game from Sony and was recently featured on “The Apprentice.” GameForce is planning on having a full ****pit with steering wheel and pedal, and attendees can stop by their booth to either take their turn at the wheel or just enjoy watching as a spectator. According to the review on www.ign.com, “Gran Turismo 4 uses an all-new physics engine coupled with revolutionary technology to deliver enhanced game physics and graphics providing a near-realistic automotive racing simulation.” “We definitely believe that this will be one of the highlights of the show. We will be displaying a sign at each car in the show that is available to be played at GameForce. This game has over 700 cars, more than 100 courses and plenty of unique surprises for automotive enthusiasts. Our best players will have the opportunity to show off their driving skills in our booth, and the tournament winner will be announced during the awards ceremony,” said Ryan Austin. President of GameForce. The GameForce Gran Turismo 4 tournament begins on April 17 th, 2005 and ends at the car show. To participate, please contact GameForce at 281-361-3838 or online at www.gameforcecenters.com. Winners will receive prizes, including gifts from Gran Turismo tournament sponsors Intel and Nvidia. For those attendees looking for a bit more speed, Platinum event sponsors A-Line Auto Parts and ACDelco will be bringing a 48-foot long dragster. Also, Platinum event sponsor Cebridge Connections has coordinated with the Discovery Channel to provide a “Monster Garage” display and X-Box game giveaways. Other highlights of this year’s event will be vehicle displays by the Army, Air Force and Marines. Applications are now being accepted for vehicles to display in the show and are available on the event website. Early registration is $25 per vehicle for non-commercial displays. Vehicles registered prior to April 1, 2005 will be eligible to be listed in the event program. Vendor and sponsor opportunities are also available

Yeah Rene', Town Center is basically a HUGE cluster of businesses at the corner of Kingwood Dr. and West Lake Houston....I would expect there will be signs all over directing people where to go, and 200 cars should be pretty hard to miss. :jeff: If ya'll wanna rolll with us you can just meet me at my place that morning. We're in the apartments behind the Lubys shopping center on the 59 feeder between Kingwood Dr. and Northpark Dr. exits......Can't miss us! Just let me know via email or PM how ya'll wanna work it....I probably should get ya my cell #. I think Karla is gonna break you at Ninfa's so you better bring your wallet.... :mick:
