Jeff's Dad has one, and I do not like it. He has had some issues with it...but the damn thing never lets me out of the back door. The ride is really choppy too....I would not personally buy one...but you have to do what you can with what you have so if that is in your budget maybe yours will be better.

Ours pulled down around 17 mpg with the 5 speed and over sized tires on it . Had plenty of power and suited our family well . We got rid of it because my wife wanted a new GT and I ended up buying a new one for her on a good deal and great warranty .

I'm in love with these things. I've been looking for one in the Comp. Orange looking color they come in. If I found the right one I'd probably sell the Mach to get it. Ford had talk of making an SVT version of it with the last gen. lightning motor and AWD options, but that sadly died when they introduced it as an "Adrenaline" package. The only thing special it the optional AWD... I think they do come with 3v V-8's if you want it though.

My wife's old sport trac would knock down 24 mpg on the highway. This was a while back though. We got rid of it because it felt like a tank..
