Throttle body question

A guy here at work has an 03 GT. He recently bought what he believes to be a Ford Racing TB from someone else, but he's not sure. Is any way to visually tell if it really is a Ford Racing one or just another stock unit?

I had the same Q when I bought my ford racing...they look alike except for a sticker on them...and I think there is a different number on it....If I remember the sticker is black with like GMS on it or something...my car is not here for me to check...

I would assume the initials would be "FMS" - Ford MotorSports. There should be a Ford Racing logo on it.

Yea I am not sure...It is in a script that i have not see ford use....and it is hard to tell what it is..but I did not pay that much attention

If he bought a 70mm TB it should be quite noticable that it's bigger when compared to the stock TB when looking at them from the manifold side.
