Throttle spring????

I was detailing my engine for the car show last week, and i accidentally pulled the spring that opens the throttle body(dont know what its real name is) but i put it back right away on there, but now my car feels weird....lost power, takes really long to switch gears (automatic), higher gas consumption, longer to accelerate, prob more i havent noticed.

anyone got any ideas what may have happened?

also is the plastic piece in there have anything to do with the problem?

I would look at a friends car and make sure that you have it on there correctly
