Ticking sound

I have a ticking sound from underneath the floorboards. It only happens when the car is moving and the gas pedal is pressed. Any ideas?

It was hard to hear over my mufflers. It only happened when I had my heater on this morning.

You stalker.

I would say its most likely an exhaust leak. Put the car in the air and check around all of the exhaust connections for leaks. You can use your hand to feel for hot air escaping or a piece of heater hose to your ear and move it around all the connections, catalitic converters, O2 sensors and anywhere else a leak is possible.

My bet is on cats... When I had the cats on my car, I'd get a horrible scrape noise on decel... though it was my tranny going bad, but the cats were rattling
