Tint places...

ive heard you guys talk about a few places on here with good reviews and my friend wants to tint his tiburon and was asking about mothers window tint...anybody had a car done by them? all the feedback ive head about them is that they charge too much for the same job you can get done somewhere else...

i think you guys mentioned some place off oconnor correct? you got the number and address?

any other places i should have him look into?

Do a search on here for Wilsons. Thats where everyone takes there cars and from what I have seen it looks top notch. I need to get the Mk VII's windows tinted and may take it there or do it myself. I wouldnt take it to Mother's tho.

i'd go over to team dyamic sounds off 410 and fredricksberg and ask for james. hes the only one that will touch my cars from now on

a good friend of mine does excellent work on tint and anything else concerning mobiles. 210 performance on echkert and bandera. ask for tabey and tell'em a.d sent you.

JR Tintworks. They tint locally in San Antonio. She charges between $80 and $95 for tint depending on what shade you wanted. She offers a life time warranty on the tint too. Her number is (210) 912-4613 in San Antonio. Good Luck! jae

Okay...

Wilson is good. He has done both of our cars and they look great. Lifetime warranty and lowcost unlike mothers.

Timmy's car looks good so James is ok to, though I can't comment about the price.

A bazillion of us here at LSS have gone to wilsons.. there was a point to where you could just metion the name and he'd know us lol.

He used to be on the NW side.. now last i heard he moved to the NE side.. i live on the NW side and it would be WELL worth the drive there to have him do it, an excellent job.

If you live in the southside of town you must go to one stop tint and alarm. Rudy is the owner there and i have taken all my cars there. i have owned way over 20 cars from show cars to everyday cars he has about 15 years of exp. when some guys are doing two piece windows ( like some corvette's and some bugs) he will do a piece. trust me i would give him a chance to earn your business.

Anyone have experience with Mobile tint on Pat Booker over in UC? I recently had a really bad experience with a local tinter on my corvette, and they are scheduled to fix it. Their prices seem a bit high, but the quality seems really good.

I don't want to bash somebody online but the other place in UC I went to scratched my car, cut the glass, and installed the tint about the same as my 7 year old would have!
