really its all just up to your preference. what color is your car?
also what part of town you live in depends if you'll get crap from cops.
i got illegal tint on my stang and knock on wood i've never really got a ticket for it. but on my next stang im gonna stay legal just cause it kinda gets annoying having dark ass tint when your driving at dark (sometimes)

from what i understand, tint laws are kinda screwey.. this is coming from my friend who is a newly certified state inspector... 20 will pass inspection and 25 is LEGAL... so from what he told me, you can still get a ticket for 20 if the officer is in a bad mood but 25 is legal.. this is coming from a texas state inspector

my friend who stated 20 just took the certification class less than a year ago.. not tryin' to start shit.. but seems liek the person who took it most recently would be right...

Sounds good. I do remember when the changes went in effect from 20% to 25% which is retarted if you ask me but they told us to allow 5% so that is probobly where the 20% comes in. They say due to different factory window tints. I just happen to enforce only the 25% now

It actually depends on the county you are in, but State Troopers in any county can give it to you at 25%. Laws involving modifications to cars are retarded in Texas. They contradict a lot as well.

Yeah I'm running with limos and just a couple weeks dirivng in texas. The police pulled me over saying I have to take them off. But maybe what ticked them off is because I have an out-of-state license and they firgure they should lay down the law for me heh. But anyways he told me they are tolerant up to 20 but anything lower than that they will give you a ticket for it and im in the houston area btw. Though, I remember him saying 25 and up is legal yup.

I am running limo on the back and rear quarters, with 20 on the front windows. I've also got a out of state license still, no problems yet
