why would you want to put a tire that wide up front? Odds are, yes, they will.

i think thats about the same tire/rim size that john had on his stang, and he had to go with a smaller rim because of rubbing

if i remember right, he has a 89. yes they will rub. sorry to shoot down your dreams y0!, shoulda thought about this earlier i think.. i had 255/40/17 on 17x9 R's in the front. they needed a spacer. i used a spacer, and they rubbed sometimes, not often though. then when i lowered the front end, the inside lip of the RIM was rubbing the strut, even with the spacer. i had to go to 16x7.5 R's wrapped in 225/50/16.

on the front drivers side, the rim was rubbing. and the front passenger was the tire... obviously the alignment is off a little bit somewhere. but still, itll rub the strut. for a fox, it should have 25mm backspacing....

what nighthawk said.

the BARE minimum you need is a 245 tire. you need narrower rims in front man...
