Tire recommendations?

This is for a 17/9'' rim! I am wanting to run a bit smaller tire up front, but am having trouble finding anything but a 255(not sure it will fit 9'' rim) or 275, already have 275/40/R17 all around and the car tracks pretty bad. Wanted to get the BFG KWD NT's but they only offer them as big as a 255 for a 17'' rim. Got any suggestions guys?

Go 245/45/17 up front.

Sorry, skipped right over the 9" part.

Can I go as small as a 255 up front with it being 9" wide?

you should be ok... 255 is 10 inches... anything smaller though, may start looking a little funny

I work at a tire shop and yes it will work. 245 45 17's will fit also they just look a lil bit funny. I have 275 on the front of mine and doesnt track at all..have you have the alignment checked? if not check the air in all. if one is lower that can make it pull!

I do have issues with a bent x-bracing, but that only contributed to the problem! Before, whe everything was straight I still had issues! From what I understand, I can fit the 255's on thier, I am just trying to stay away from the inward angle look that you get form having tires that are to small if you catch what I 'm throwing.

What size tires do you have in the back?

i have 275 35 18 in the front and 315 35 17 in the rear...if u put 245s on it u will get the inward u dont like...my friend has 255 on his and it looks pretty good but really short...265's are just sooo expensive compared to 275's!!! Have u considered going with a 8in wheel? Then 245's fit fine

Nah, if anything I will just get 18's and sell the 17's!!!

Either that or I will put KDW 255/40/R17's in the front and KDW 2 285/40/R17's in the rear! Haven't decided yet, would need to find a buyer for my current rims to make back some of the $$$
