Tire Size?

what up fellow LSS. Got a question. whats the biggest tire u can fit on 17x8 rims. want to put some wide tires in d back of my stang, without the tires lookin like theyve been overinflated. or should i just move to some bigger, wider rims?

lol everyones gonna tell yo to get wider rims! but if you stick with the 8 inchers, i think the widest you can go is 265/40.. im not absolutely sure on that, but im sure someone will correct me if im wrong!

On my olf 17x8's I had some 274/40's. They bulge a little on the sides but it also depends on the brand of tire you get. But a 275/40/17 will fit on a 17x8 rim.

i would get bigger wheels. save up and do it right. i wouldnt go over 275 on those. good luck.

i have Nitto 555 275/40/17 on my stock rear Bullitts. No issues at all for me. hope that helps

been running 275s since '02. no problems at all. 4x4 is the stock height but that doesn't keep us from dropping them.

275 is the most you can run on a 17x8. A Nitto DR 275/40/17 would be your best bet if you don't want a bulge since they are sized different then your normal tire.
