Unhappy Tommy Vaugh Passes Away!

Sad but there's one less Ford lover around H-Town...

Quote:
Tommie Vaughn, owner of an iconic Houston car dealership and a cornerstone of the 1939 Texas A&M national champion football team, died at his home Friday. He was 87.
May he rest in peace!

'39 was the only year we won the National Title. He has got to be one of the last to still be alive from the team. Err, well, he died. You get the point.

The only owner of a Ford dealership in Houston who truely understood the needs of the hot rodder. He will be missed.

Just found this story -
It is a sad time in the Ford community in Houston and Texas.
They had the best darn Radio Ad Jingle (song) that went back to the beginning.
The Ford community will miss you Tommie Vaughn.

You are all correct all of us in the Ford community will miss Tommy Vaughn. As for his dealership it has been run by his daughter for many years now and she planes to change nothing as for as i know.
