Unhappy Track last night.........

well, i went to the track last night with some traction.........came home on a tow truck. i did a few runs at 12.77, 12.75, and a 12.78. last run i was doing my burnout and heard a loud thump from under the car. finished my run, and the transmission was holding as if my brakes were pressed..........but in neutral it wouldnt do it. so i drove it home knowing the tranny has to be replaced anyway. made it to 1518 and 10, and it died..........popped the hood and noticed the tranny built up enough temp/pressure to blow the dipstick out and fluid was EVERYWHERE. $35 tow from 1518 and 10 to Lethal Performance......on a good note..........rebuilt tranny, 3500-3800 stall, and a cam............muhahaha.

So the air force aid is paying you to fix your car that you broke at the track????? THAT is why I will NOT give to the air force aid anymore.

were you crossing at 109ish? i was there that night and saw a white trans am running consistent 12.7s. i guess that was you, wish i had known i wouldve came over to introduce myself. dunno if you saw my car or not since i didnt stay past 8 or 8:30. how were you getting traction? i couldnt get anything better than a terrible 2.1 60foot that night. sorry to hear about your trans, but breaking somethings always a good excuse to upgrade to something better
