Trade rims???

There's a guy who was 15x3.5 front and 15x8 weld draglites with new tires that wants to trade me for my 17x9.5 03 cobra rims and tires. I have 245x45's in the front and 275x45's in the rear and the tires are all like new. I eventually wanted to get some welds to lighten up my car but I don't want to get ripped on this deal. IS it a good one?? The cobras came with my car and I don't know how much a set of 03-04 cobra rims go for. Thanks for the advice in advance.

fair trade pending the condition of each persons tires

depending on what car you have, you will need front spacers and will also have to grind the brake caliper. make sure you get his spacers in the deal.

They are coming off his 93 coupe and going on my 93 coupe. My tires are about a month old and his are about the same. I kinda think that my cobras with the size tires they have on them are worth a little more than the welds he wants to trade me though...

as a set each would fethch a similar price on the used parts market. welds hold their value better than stock ford wheels.

plus, you are getting faster and he is getting slower

You're proposing OEM wheels for after market.

I don't see any bad dealings with that.
